F. M. Alexander developed his technique at the end of the 19th century as a result of his recurrent problems with his voice. Today the   Alexander Technique has the recognition and respect of  the medical and scientific world and is taught in the most prestigious music and drama schools around the world such as the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Royal College of Music, New York University, Julliard School.
